Papaya Beet Smoothie

I am addicted lately to Papaya Boat Smoothies! There is something about scooping the flesh of papaya with the smoothie that takes your smoothie to another level of deliciousness and pleasure.

This beet smoothie is packed with nutrients, detoxifying and antioxidant agents found in beets, cucumber and baobab!

Polyphenols like lignans in cucumbers and indole-3-carbinol in beets are known to lower the risk of ovarian and breast cancer.

As for the Goddess Papaya, called "fruit of the angels" by Christopher Columbus, has tremendous benefits like being an excellent anti-aging due to the high levels of vitamin C and A, reducing inflammation to glowing skin, aiding in digestion, preventing asthma (because of beta carotene), preventing macular degeneration, and more.

I know this information can be overwhelming so I will let you research more if you like or just click here.

Just know that Mother Nature has everything we need so we can feel whole and healthy.

Try to add as many natural colors to your meal every time you eat and enjoy the abundance of Mother Earth's treasures.

Servings: 4

Preparation time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

2 papayas, cut in halves and seeds discarded (but you can eat the seeds or use them in salad dressings as pepper substitute)

1 raw beet, peeled

1 cucumber

1 zucchini

1 cup of pecans

3 frozen bananas

1/2 cup of coconut milk (or any other plant-based milk of choice)

1 tsp baobab powder ( I use organic burst)

Toppings:

Coconut cream (to make the swirls)

Blueberries

Chocolate mint

dark chocolate hemp seeds

edible jasmin flowers (make sure it is the edible type)

Guidance:

Using a high speed blender, blend all the ingredients together until creamy and smooth.

Enjoy the beautiful color.

Pour your smoothie in your papaya boats.

Add little drops of coconut cream on your smoothie.

Using a toothpick, go from one drop to another to create swirls.

Add some blueberries, chocolate mint, dark choc hemp seed, jasmin or any other fruit, seeds, nuts, edible flowers you like.
